Parish Ladies Guild
All ladies of the parish are welcome to join us on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of every month at 7pm in the hall.
The Parish Ladies' Guild was formed in February 1998. At present we have 24 registered members, yes all Ladies. Our members consist of a cross-section of the parish who pay an annual membership. The Guild meets twice monthly, with pre-identified activities for each meeting ranging from outside speakers, mystery trips, fund raising events and just having fun (see programme below).
The aim of the Guild is to help other group members to deepen their spiritual, physical and emotional well-being which is then reflected in our daily lives and extend this support to those in the parish identified as in need. We also offer assistance to our parish priest Father Mansel, establish links with other parish groups and foster links with other outside organisations.
The Guild also helps to provide refreshments after funerals if requested, including any local fund raising events and special parish occasions.
Monies raised by the Guild go to various local charities such as the Missionaries of Charity, Cyrenians, Air Ambulance, Maggie's and other identified charities.
New members are always welcome, so why not come and join us
